I love capturing the little details of each baby, each is so unique and will soon change so much. And my favorite one of the macro shots:

Just love the perspective on this one, you can see her little features so well.

More from Adalyn’s session coming soon!

What could be more beautiful than all the little details?

As I was working on Calvin’s DVD last week, I noticed I hadn’t posted all of the adorable macro shots from his newborn session. I have a soft spot for all the little details and I couldn’t resist coming back and showing you these.

A facial close-up, with beautiful eyelashes.

And, of course, some feet close-ups:

How adorable are these little piggies:

And in black and white, since I can’t make up my mind which one I like better:

And the flaky, peely skin, such a newborn feature:

And this one, it just makes me smile:

Thanks for visiting and Happy Monday!

Baby Calvin was 18 days old when he came to the natural light studio in Tooele. I was so excited when his mom asked me to do his newborn session. She and I were good friends a long time ago and it was so good to see her and reminisce.

Now you will see how seriously cute Calvin is. Don’t you think he has the best little lips?

Not many babies like to wear hats, but he loved it. We also decided to keep him swaddled in order to help maintain his body temperature. He loved that too, so cute. Do you see the little frown?

I think newborn smiles are the best, just so precious!

Just love the serenity in this one:

Ah, yes, my little obsession with detail shots of little feet!

And one of my favorites, such amazing eye contact from a little one.

‘H’, thanks again for making the long drive- your little guy is so adorable and it was so nice to see you! Hope you will enjoy these!

I introduced sweet little Addison last week and I can’t resist posting a few more.
Her mom drove over 1 hour to get to the studio and when they arrived Addison was wide awake and ready to party. We swaddled her and waited for her to fall asleep and it was well worth the wait:

While she was drifting off, I got my macro lens and moved in for some close-ups:

She has the cutest little lips, don’t you think?

This has got to be my very favorite macro image- such an adorable detail!

This is baby Noah’s forehead- how cute is that little swirl? I thought it was so unique that it deserved it’s own image. His mom and I joked that once he gets more hair, it will be hard to comb down.

More to come this week!
