Once again, I had to come back and post some more images from Skylar’s session. She proved to be an excellent little model and I love how the colors of the background and outfit compliment her so well.

I really like how the black and white images look so rich and classic.

I like how she still curls her toes, so sweet.

Such a happy little one, and so cute too!

She liked the bead necklace. :)

Thank you, ‘C’, for bringing your sweet daughter, hope you had as much fun as I did!

“It’s beauty that captures your attention;

personality which captures your heart.”

Emryee is almost 3 years old and she sure has plenty of beauty and personality. She was so much fun to photograph! Like any child this age, her little self just shines through, whether she was being serious or plain silly.
A little bit of sass.

I like her serious look here, such a moody photo (I added a texture to it, to add to the feeling).

And I love this one too, so much character!

And this one is my favorite, beautiful eyes and smile.

This is little Miss Emryee (isn’t her name so unique?).  She will be 3 years old soon.

I promised her mom a sneak peek as I work on her gallery and this image just stood out to me as the perfect moment- the little smile, the eye contact, her hands posed like that..  It’s simple yet the beauty of it makes it timeless.

You will have to come back when I post more of Emryee, she has the most beautiful hair I have even seen in a girl her age, quite stunning.

Isn’t she so cute? This is little Miss Skylar and I just fell in love with this little one’s beauty and sweet personality. This is just a sneak peek for her mom- thanks for bringing her by!

This is my 4 year old son. All boy and all unstoppable energy. I asked him to sit for me and this is what I got, all 3 minutes worth.

And I love it.

I can’t believe that December is almost here, and soon it will be the New Year. I won’t be taking any more bookings for the rest of 2009, the only exception being for newborns- please contact me as soon as possible if you would like to schedule a newborn session during December. I am booking sessions for January and February so please send me an e-mail if you are interested.

There will be some changes in 2010- new model calls, new products and new pricing that will have all-inclusive digital collections. Be sure to come back often so you don’t miss any announcements.

And, of course, I couldn’t post without an image. My sweet children and I have been sick for the better part of the last month. Ita has taken a toll on all of us.  My two little ones had birthdays in October and I have still to take their birthday pictures. On saturday, we took a few minutes and tried to have a mini session even though the  light was really harsh that morning.

Despite all the imperfections, I got a few that I fell in love with:utah child photographyAren’t they so cute? :) They are 2 years apart and it just melts my heart to see how they are the best of friends.

Do you remember this collage that I made with images from my Summer trip to Portugal?

I finally ordered it and it arrived last week:
float wrap

This one is 16×16 inches in size and I call it a display portrait- I love the way it turned out!

They take a photographic print and wrap it around a lightly  padded mounting:float wrap corner

The back is finished in black and then a gatorboard block is applied to hang it on the wall. This gives the appearance of ‘floating’, hence the name.

Take my word for it, it looks awesome on a wall, it makes quite a statement.

This one will be traveling over the ocean, it’s a gift to my mom. My children have already chastised me for only ordering one, they wanted one for our walls too. I think I will be ordering more!

Do you remember when I was spotlighted at Crazi Beautiful Women? Kari was the winner of a mini-session for her children. We scheduled it at the Salt Lake City Library and we had a fun mini session on the east grounds. The colors were just beautiful that day.

She brought some meaningful objects for her children which made for some wonderful storyboard images:

And a Christmas card design:

And some individual images of each child- don’t they have the most striking blue eyes?

It was great meeting you all! Thank you for being such great little subjects- your order will be ready soon!

I met these siblings last friday evening and the weather was just gorgeous. The late afternoon light was simply beautiful.

They were last year’s Tooele Transcript’s Christmas Benefit Fund recipients and won a gift certificate for a mini session from me. I was very happy when they contacted me to schedule this session, we had so much fun!

More to come soon!

Last week I posted a sneak peek of this session with 2 adorable brothers and I couldn’t resist posting a few more.

For mutual convenience, we had the session at the Salt Lake City Library. I have to confess that I had never been there before and I was really missing out! What an amazing building and grounds!

We started the session indoors since it was raining when we arrived. With so many glass windows, it was the perfect place, and the light was just gorgeous indoors.

Little W was a fast crawler:

Older brother J was a great model for me:

We then noticed that the rain had stopped so we headed for the rooftop garden, which proved to be a haven of Fall color:

And I have to say kudos to their mom for dressing them so well- she totally got the ‘coordinating, not matching’ concept, I just loved their outfits! The colors of their tops worked perfectly with the surroundings.

Look at the adorable smile!

M and J- thanks so much for letting me photograph your boys! I had so much fun! Enjoy your session!
