Do you remember the tutu mini sessions that I hosted in June and July? I have just received some prints today and this is the part that I totally love- to see and feel the prints in person! Since my work is digital, I don’t get to see it in print until the orders come in from the professional lab that I use. And while digital images are very convenient to share online, nothing compares to the pleasure that an archival print offers to anyone one who sees and feels it.

This is a 5×7 proof book that I ordered to show Fairy Wonderful’s designs and Reflections by Cindy‘s images- you can see how cute it turned out! Each image has a black stroke and a white border that makes the colors really stand out; it is coil bound and comes in a presentation box. Each print is textured and rich in detail. Proof books are an easy way to show off all the images from a session, and since the prints are archival, the quality is always outstanding.

All models will receive complimentary prints, and I wish I could be there to see their reaction! Thank you everyone for participating!

“When in doubt, wear red.”- Bill Blass

You will agree that she looks good in red and in other colors too! She was such a fun little model!

And her little sister, such an expressive little one:

I just adored her striking eyes!

Thank you, M, for bringing your beautiful daughters to model for me! I hope they had as much fun as I did.

“I’m a girl

and by me that’s only great!”- I Enjoy Being a Girl, Flower Drum Song

Aren’t they all gorgeous girls?  I promised their moms to show more images, and I am now beginning to catch up. My vacation was great, but I’m behind on my work.

Thank you Sarah, Ileina and Madi for being excellent models, I had so much working with you.

“Cherish forever

what makes you unique.”- Bette Midler

On Wednesday I was the lucky hostess to an afternoon of dress-up mini-sessions. You will agree with me that these girls are just adorable:

First, I met little Miss Sarah- pink and brown are just her colors. I love it how it flatters so her cute curly hair and beautiful blue eyes. She was a bit shy in the beginning, but I think it’s just adorable that little hint of a smile.

***

Miss Eleina is a true island beauty and she looked absolutely lovely in this raspberry petti skirt- the colors were perfect for her beautiful long hair and golden skin, and she brought along a top that coordinated just right. She was the perfect model too, made my job so easy.

Next, we have Miss Madi- doesn’t she look so lovely in the chocolate and aqua tutu skirts? (can you see all 3 skirts?) It was a custom fit for her, and I love how she brought along a top and shoes that made the outfit just right and extra special. That beanie hat turned out to be the perfect accessory to frame her cute face and beautiful brown eyes.

Miss McKailey looks like a little princess, so naturally serene and beautiful. She loved that white petti skirt too, and you’ll agree that it looks absolutey lovely on her. The pink accessories were perfect to accentuate her gorgeous green eyes and beautiful curly hair.

And this is the adorable little Miss Alie- I just had to post another sneak peek image of her. She turned out to be so happy and cute and just a joy to work with, the camera loved her. The chocolate tutu dress and the light pink accessories were lovely on her as well. Doesn’t she have the most stunning eyes?

Thank you all so much for coming, for putting up with the long drives, the hot weather and annoying bugs- you are all the best! I had so much fun and hope you did too!

And a word for all the mommies who have little girls that love to dress up: I have these outfits available for sessions, just send me an e-mail to set up your own custom mini-session.

“Thank heaven for little girls.”- Maurice Chevalier, Gigi

Today I had another afternoon of mini sessions in tutus and dresses. The weather held wonderful for us, and the gardens were as beautiful as usual.

I met the prettiest girls, and we all had so much fun! This adorable little one was the youngest and this is only a sneak peek- can’t wait to process all the other images!

“Wear pink and

make the boys wink.”- Lilly Pulitzer

What can I say, I am very partial to pink. And I actually think that it is so becoming to Miss Savanna, it has a very angelic quality. This lovely tutu dress has little details that make it so unique and elegant.

Isn’t she so pretty? I loved this color on her, it was so flattering. Of course, the tutu dress was a dream, I love the contrast of the purple dress and the green straps, the rose accents are the perfect touch.

It was even more special that Miss Amber came from out of town on her 4th birthday to model it for me, I was so glad that she did. We had so much fun exploring the garden and capturing these lovely images.

Isn’t this the most amazing thing you’ve ever seen?! It’s like a party in a tutu dress shape. And Miss Savanna was the best little model for it, just the perfect combination. I love how the colors in the tutu make her beautiful blue eyes stand out. And she was such a little trooper to put up with me following her around the garden, even though it was the end of day and she was tired.

“I dream

for a living.”- Steven Spielberg

My assignment today was a perfect dream- I photographed 3 little girls in tutu dresses in a beautiful garden. Even the weather cooperated wonderfully and the experience turned out to be just amazing. Can I just say how I love this job?!

The tutu dress and accessories are from Fairy Wonderful and this is only a sneak peek. I have lots more coming, but until then enjoy this one.
