Do you remember Noah? I first took his portraits back in February when he was 6 months old. His mom brought him back for his 1st birthday session. We had a wonderful time in the late afternoon, and we even had time for some cake shots.

He has the most adorable smile!

We brought out the cake and, at first, he wasn’t too sure:

He soon got into it, literally:

I love close-ups of little feet:

The beautiful afternoon light made for an amazing background:

And here’s the 20×20 cake smash storyboard that his mom ordered in a float wrap:

Happy First Birthday, Noah!

I introduced these sweet siblings recently and had to come up and post some more from their session. After having rescheduled due to weather, we were very happy with nice afternoon and slightly overcast sky. Despite their young age and the travel time to me in the late afternoon, Brianna and Kameron were very well behaved and working with them was a treat.

After wearing their own outfits, we got them changed into some more vintage inspired clothing from my prop closet.

Doesn’t she look so sweet?

Her little brother was so cute and looked just adorable in the seersucker romper.

This is one has to be my favorite, the antique chair and their vintage clothes, with the black and white conversion, just lends this image such a timeless feel.

And here it is in color, which I also love.

‘K’, thank you so much for bringing your adorable children,  I had a wonderful time with them.

Isn’t she so cute? This is little Miss Skylar and I just fell in love with this little one’s beauty and sweet personality. This is just a sneak peek for her mom- thanks for bringing her by!

These sisters were such a delight to photograph! I love how their personalities shine through in these images, their own little selves captured in perfect moments. Big sister M was such a fun model and really enjoyed her time in front of the camera ; little H was so cute and loved to sit on the little chair.

The weather was beautiful and the Fall colors were the perfect background for this mini session. Mom and Dad, thank you for bringing them over, hope you will enjoy these!

On Saturday, I met these adorable sisters whom I hadn’t seen for almost 9 months.  You can view first session here.

I love it when parents bring back their little ones to me, it’s so much fun to see how much they have changed. Their mom took advantage of the Holiday Mini session offer and wanted some images with the beautiful Fall foliage.

This is just a sneak peek for mom and dad, we had such a wonderful time and I love how you can really see the genuine emotion in these captures. I think these are my favorites from the session.

A few more to come soon.

This is the story of Artie.

Artie is 2 and half years old. I met him yesterday in the evening, just before sunset. Artie likes to look for bugs hidden in the weeds:

“Huh? I don’t think so! Catch me if you can!”

“What about if I give you some gummies, Artie?”

Artie liked his gummies, but he liked running too. I got to see him from all angles, while I tried to catch him:

His dad had a better idea than gummies:

After all the running around, Artier rolled on the grass and laughed his head off:

This is what little boys like to do best, look for bugs and run around and roll on the grass, while getting away with daddy’s $20 bill.

I didn’t follow Artie home, but I’m pretty sure he slept really well last night! Thanks, mom and dad, for bringing him over, he’s so cute! Hope you enjoy these!

I had the chance to meet my little niece, daughter of my younger brother. Her name is Ana Margarida (Daisy Ann in English) and she is 13 months old and just beautiful. She has her mother’s nose and her father’s chin. Her eyes have a unique color, a blend of blue and brown, and she has a very sweet disposition.

We met for a very brief mini session, no more than 10 minutes long, and she graced me with sweet, serene expressions. it was a treat for me, I have the best job in the world, don’t you think?

what makes you unique.”- Bette Midler

On Wednesday I was the lucky hostess to an afternoon of dress-up mini-sessions. You will agree with me that these girls are just adorable:

First, I met little Miss Sarah- pink and brown are just her colors. I love it how it flatters so her cute curly hair and beautiful blue eyes. She was a bit shy in the beginning, but I think it’s just adorable that little hint of a smile.

***

Miss Eleina is a true island beauty and she looked absolutely lovely in this raspberry petti skirt- the colors were perfect for her beautiful long hair and golden skin, and she brought along a top that coordinated just right. She was the perfect model too, made my job so easy.

***

Next, we have Miss Madi- doesn’t she look so lovely in the chocolate and aqua tutu skirts? (can you see all 3 skirts?) It was a custom fit for her, and I love how she brought along a top and shoes that made the outfit just right and extra special. That beanie hat turned out to be the perfect accessory to frame her cute face and beautiful brown eyes.

***

Miss McKailey looks like a little princess, so naturally serene and beautiful. She loved that white petti skirt too, and you’ll agree that it looks absolutey lovely on her. The pink accessories were perfect to accentuate her gorgeous green eyes and beautiful curly hair.

***

And this is the adorable little Miss Alie- I just had to post another sneak peek image of her. She turned out to be so happy and cute and just a joy to work with, the camera loved her. The chocolate tutu dress and the light pink accessories were lovely on her as well. Doesn’t she have the most stunning eyes?

***

Thank you all so much for coming, for putting up with the long drives, the hot weather and annoying bugs- you are all the best! I had so much fun and hope you did too!

And a word for all the mommies who have little girls that love to dress up: I have these outfits available for sessions, just send me an e-mail to set up your own custom mini-session.

What can I say, I am very partial to pink. And I actually think that it is so becoming to Miss Savanna, it has a very angelic quality. This lovely tutu dress has little details that make it so unique and elegant.

Miss Sarah was a superb little model and kindly agreed to several outfit changes. You can surely see that she did a lovely job, both the tutu skirt and the tutu dress look adorable on her.

I would like to extend my thanks to the little girls that came out to model these exquisite creations, I had so much fun, it was a lovely assignment.

Isn’t she so pretty? I loved this color on her, it was so flattering. Of course, the tutu dress was a dream, I love the contrast of the purple dress and the green straps, the rose accents are the perfect touch.

It was even more special that Miss Amber came from out of town on her 4th birthday to model it for me, I was so glad that she did. We had so much fun exploring the garden and capturing these lovely images.

Isn’t this the most amazing thing you’ve ever seen?! It’s like a party in a tutu dress shape. And Miss Savanna was the best little model for it, just the perfect combination. I love how the colors in the tutu make her beautiful blue eyes stand out. And she was such a little trooper to put up with me following her around the garden, even though it was the end of day and she was tired.
