It has been raining quite a bit here, which is somewhat out of the normal for our late Spring Utah weather.
My next door neighbors have this gorgeous lilac bush in their front yard, partly over the fence. I went out, after the rain, with my macro lens, and was able to get capture these images:

I’d like you to meet baby Charlee. I posted her mom’s maternity session last week.
Charlee came to the natural light studio for her newborn session on her 10th day of life. We were able to get a beautiful variety of simple and flattering poses, which are always my favorite.
Little toes are always irresistible to me:

Today I’d like to show some examples of birth announcements.
Birth announcements are press printed and therefore printed on both sides. The most common size is 5×7 flat but they also come in 5×5, both flat and folded options. There are also different options for paper finishes. They come in sets of 24 and include envelopes. Just as a reminder, for a limited time, when you book a newborn session with Reflections by Cindy, you receive a free set of 5×7 flat birth announcements in the semi-gloss paper finish.
I also offer specialty birth announcements, when you want some a little more elegant and out of the ordinary.

All of these are just some examples of colors and text, I am happy to customize the style to coordinate with your baby’s newborn session.

I ‘m so excited to start this new venture but it will be a work in progress as I build inventory. Macro and floral photography is something that I really love to do and , after several requests, I am ready to share the results of my work with others. I find flowers and nature so inspiring and it is my wish that my images will inspire you too.

I had to come back and post a few more of “A”‘s maternity session with her 4th baby.
The session was held at the natural light studio in Tooele and we tried to get a little bit of variety between outfits and fabric warps. I think she looked fabulous in all of them.
And this is probably my favorite from her session, even though it was hard to choose.

This is ‘A’, who came to me for her maternity portraits at 34 weeks of gestation. Her new baby girl will be making her debut in a few short weeks and I can’t wait to meet her.
‘A’ is partial to giraffes for her baby’s nursery and I thought this one was too cute not to be included.
This was one of my favorites from her session, you can see the happiness in her expression.
And this one is another favorite, I love the serenity that it evokes.
