I know what you’re thinking: “Mother’s Day? That’s over 2 months away!” And yes, that’s true. But I know how busy we all are these days, and important dates sneak up on us. So we’re getting a head start today.

This year, treat yourself for Mother’s Day with a beautiful charm bracelet featuring photo charms of your child(ren).

This is a very limited time offer- during the months of March, April and May, a charm bracelet will be included with the purchase of digital Collection II when you reserve a session with ‘Reflections by Cindy’. You will receive one bracelet per family with one charm of each child, featuring your favorite image. This is an exclusive offer and you will only be able to get this charm bracelet during this time.

I am so excited to announce that I am now offering maternity sessions. I think it’s a natural progression since I love to photograph newborns. Photographing their mothers will give me a wonderful opportunity to follow and capture the love, even before their little ones are born. I also think there is so much beauty in the body and form of an expectant mother, and I hope to do them justice.

This beautiful mom is expecting a little surprise next month. She is 36 weeks along in her pregnancy. I advise that maternity photography sessions take place between 32-36 weeks- not too early so we can capture the beautiful shape of the belly, but not so late when the discomfort of late pregnancy starts to weigh more heavily on the expectant mom.

Doesn’t she have the most perfect baby bump?

This is one of my favorites from her session, I think she looks so beautiful and elegant.

This post was supposed to be a sneak peek but I had so many favorites that I couldn’t just post one! There will be more coming soon.

“B”, thanks so much for coming to the studio, you were the perfect model.

Could she be any more adorable? Look at the beautiful eyes and the cute cheeks! And the outfit, so stylish. I could go on, but this is only a sneak peek for this little cutie’s parents. Much more to come!

‘M’ family, thanks so much for coming to the studio!

It’s not a secret, I have a special love for newborns. New babies are special and they need all the love and care to grow. Unfortunately, in some unprivileged countries, mothers do not have the most essential basics, including a cap to keep the baby warm.

I just found out about this initiative, Caps for Good, Newborn & Child Survival Campaign. They are asking people to knit and crochet baby caps to be sent to developing countries with newborn care kits. It started in September and it end on the last day of this month. I wish I would have known about it a little earlier, but there is still time. My daughter and I will be knitting caps with leftover yarn for the next 3 weeks. Then we’ll mail them to the address in NY. My challenge to you is to join in and knit/crochet some too.
