Claire’s mom already received her session disc, but I couldn’t resist coming back to post a few more. Claire was 7 days old on the day of her newborn photo session.

I love photographing up-close to get all the details. New babies change so fast and memory alone is not enough to remember all the precious little things.

And this one is my favorite from Claire’s session:

J+L- thank you so much for making the drive! I loved having you over and Claire was just so precious!

This is little guy came to me through Kids Cancer Crusade. His name is Luca, a 20-month old brave little hero, who is currently undergoing treatment for leukemia.

I fell in love with his big brown eyes and serious countenance.

I sat him there and he just crossed his little feet in this cute way (you can tell he was not very impressed by me):

Luca came with his loving family who joined him for his photo session. This is just a sneak peek for them. Thank you for your patience, hope you will enjoy these while you wait.

Almost 2 months ago, I posted about my newborn artwork at the new Mountain West Women’s Center in Tooele. At the time of the opening, 2 canvases were hung and ready for display. Last month I delivered the remaining 12 canvases.

This is the entrance, which is directly behind the Mountain West Medical Center, and it faces West.

Right after the visitors’ lobby, patients and visitors come in through the doors and the Nurses’ station is on the left. Directly across from it, a display of 3 canvases was hung:

Each measures 24×36 inches:

The other canvases were hung individually in the patients’ rooms and, of course, those were being used and couldn’t be photographed.

I am very happy with how these turned out, they look absolutely stunning in person! I’m so humbled to have been asked to participate in this project, it was a very gratifying experience to see these images of beautiful babies come to realization and life through such a perfect medium- with proper care, gallery wrapped canvases have an archival life of 150 years, which makes the perfect investment when you want to preserve a special image or, in this case, a display of artwork. It makes me happy to know that these canvases will be enjoyed for generations to come.

If you would like to see a sample of a Fine Art Gallery Wrapped Canvas in person, please don’t hesitate to contact me to arrange an appointment.

I want to apologize for the lack of recent posts- I was out of town for a few days and came back sick and that took some extra time to get everything back to the normal routine. I’ll be trying to catch up with the blog and I have some fun posts in store.

I’m starting the week with Odette and her family. I introduced Odette last time, she came to me through Kids Cancer Crusade and we had a little session to celebrate the completion of her treatments.

Odette was just full of energy and quite hard to keep up! Lucky for me, she loved the black cat that resides at the garden:

You can see how happy she was to be out and about:

Odette came with her older brother and sisters: 11 year-old Brandt, 9 year-old Kathleen and Josselyn who is 3 1/2.

And one of my favorite images from Odette’s session, a quiet, tender moment that I was able to capture:

This is Odette. Odette is almost 2 and came to me through Kids Cancer Crusade. She just recently finished treatment for Leukemia and her mom and family wanted to celebrate this milestone in her life.

Odette is like most toddlers her age and she ran (non stop!) and giggled and enjoyed her time outside in the garden. I love these genuine smiles that I was able to capture!

This is just a sneak peek for her mom, who is anxiously waiting for the images from Odette’s session. More to come soon!

I introduced Camille last month, we met at the garden for a mini senior session. Camille just started her senior year in high school. Not only is she beautiful, but she’s also very accomplished.

Camille arrived in a beautiful maroon gown. It looked so well on her and I loved the color against all the greenery:

She then changed into something more casual so we could get some fun jumping shots. Camille is a ballroom dancer, look at her perfect posture:

The light was just beautiful for an evening session in the garden:

I loved doing close-up shots, Camille has beautiful eyes:

Thank you so much for coming, Camille, I had so much fun working with you! Good luck in your endeavors!
