“A vacation is having nothing to do

and all day to do it in.”- Robert Orben

I am back from my vacation- I went to my ancestral home, the country of Portugal, and spent a wonderful time with family and friends. I even had the time for some mini sessions. I had forgotten how much you walk everywhere in Europe, but the upside is that you discover new things in every walk you make. Seeing everything through my lenses was a new experience.

These are wildflowers and ferns along the side of a country road; the second one is called “Earings of Princess”; I remember clipping these flowers and dangling them from my ears as child. I also took photos of old stone walls and used them as textures on these images. Something different for me, but I like the result.

Note-I am now accepting bookings for September, October and November. I will be closed in December and will only take newborn sessions during that month. If you are interested in holiday sessions or mini sessions,  please book now to make sure you can get your desired date since availability is very limited.

You are welcome to send me an e-mail for more details.
