These are my little guys, half of my inspiration. Sometimes I get so busy that I forget they are the reason why I started this photography journey. We had a mini session this morning and, despite their being so busy, I was able to capture some of their cute expressions.
The younger one is almost 17 months, and although his hair is kind of shaggy, I can’t get myself to have his baby curls cut. His “big” brother will be 3 1/2 years next month, he’s 42.5″ tall, and looks so much older here. I love their smiling eyes. I love that I was able to get this ‘slice in time’, how they are today.
This is what life is about, remembering the little moments; photographs are the perfect medium to record these in our memories and our hearts:

oh they are a great source of inspiration- they both look so much older then their ages, i am sure to drive you crazy in teenage years. i too love the baby curls, i could not get rid of them too.

I totally understand about not wanting to cut the baby curls. I kept Nelson’s strawberry blond curls until Brad had a cow about people admiring our “little girl.” Isaac’s big brown eyes are incredible. Jacob looks 5 or 6! The drawback for tall kids is that people think they are older and expect them to act older. When they don’t they lable them “immature” or “misbehaved.” I know. But with a grin like that, no one could say such things about Jacob! Enjoy your darlings.
